Jupiter Dog Beach is a fun destination
We love the Jupiter Dog Beach. There are several access points from the road on A1A directly to the beach.
Some tips to ensure that you and your dog enjoy a safe and happy visit:
Jupiter Dog Beach is accessible from well-marked beach access points along A1A
Make sure your dog is on a leash and obey the local ordinances
Pick up after your pet. Litter bags are available at marked access points courtesy of Friends of Jupiter Beach. If you use the litter bags in a pinch, please donate to replenish
Bring plenty of fresh water to keep your dog hydrated.
Jupiter access points have faucets to rinse off your dog’s paws. This water is not intended for drinking. Bring plenty of towels.
You know your dog best. Only bring a well-mannered dog to the beach who won’t get aggressive around other dogs
Dogs and owners are there to have fun. Be respectful of others. Some dogs and owners want to interact, others want to keep their distance.
The sand gets hot quickly. Consider carrying your pet until you get to a towel or the water
If the sand is too hot, the sidewalks along the beach are shaded.
If you plan to stay for a while, pack food for you and your dog. Carlin Park has shaded picnic tables available if you get an early start.
Capture pictures and videos of the memorable day
Try different access points to enjoy the beach and fun. Some people play catch while others jog or walk with their dogs.
Stay safe and enjoy!
